Matt paint finishes are not exactly everyone’s cup of tea, but for those with deep pockets – buying expensive cars – they’ve been an option for a while. And now BMW are extending their Matte paint finishes to MINI, with limited editions of the MINI Countrymnan and MINI Paceman being offered with the special Frozen Black Metallic Matt paint job. The Matt paint – which is textured and shimmers – certainly gives the MINI a new look and will be available on MINI Cooper S Countryman, MINI Cooper SD Countryman, MINI Cooper S Paceman, MINI Cooper SD Paceman, MINI John Cooper Works Countryman and MINI John Cooper Works Paceman.
The Swedish press are reporting this morning that Saab administrators have agreed a deal to sell Saab to National Electric Vehicle Sweden. The Saab Saga has been going on so long it’s hard to think of it is a car maker any more. But that may be about to change.
SEAT Mii FR Line
SEAT are previewing a sporty version of the Mii at the Worthersee Tour tuning festival this week – the SEAT Mii FR Line. The all things VW Group Festival that is the Worthersee Tour kicks off this weekend, so there’s a fair chance we’ll be seeing more pimped, tuned and titivated VW Group cars over the next few days. Today’s offering comes from VW’s slightly troubled Iberian arm with the reveal of a sporty SEAT Mii FR Line, which is lots of show but no extra go.
